A very excited Malachi woke up this morning at just after 07.30am because today was a day that he had been looking forward to, going to see the animals at the zoo.
We arrived at the zoo and walked to the ticket office to get tickets for grandma and Auntie Keely, then it was off to explore the zoo.
First we saw the Penguins.
Then the Meerkats.
After that it was a walk to the red panda, the camels, and the monkeys.
Malachi ws very good and walked a lot of the way and although he loved to see all the animals, he wanted to walk and run around on the grass.Then it was time for lunch (mummy notice the fruit shoot!!!) and a well deserved rest for grandma and Auntie Keely.
Finally we saw what Malachi had been waiting all the way round to see, his favourite, giraffes.
After a lot more walking and running we went to the gift shop, back to the car, a sleep on the way home, and play time for the rest of the afternoon before tea, bath and then a very tired Malachi went to bed. Auntie Keely had a nap when we got home and grandma definitely need an early night.
